I almost forgot what it felt like being drenched in rain and it's comical for it was everything I've ever known back then.

I started to love the coldness it brings because it helps me numb the pain.

I love how it used to mask my tears.

But you came and offered me this parasol that has been my safe haven since then.

And even when you left, it kept me dry. And kept me safe.

And I will be forever grateful.
